I offer a variety of different type of portrait sessions. The standard Family/Children, Maternity, and Engagement sessions include a 1 to 1 1/2 hour session.  Senior sessions are typically 2 hours. Newborn sessions are typically 2/12 up to 3 hours. Most session are on location at an agreed upon location. These type of sessions include the actual session as well as light digital retouching of the images - the images will be viewable after I send a link to a client gallery that is password protected. Sessions are viewable within 2 1/2 weeks from the session unless otherwise specified in the contract.
 

Session fees vary.  I offer a variety of session types; basic mini sessions start at $175, Newborn and Senior sessions starting at 350. Pricing varies for event photography. I offer prints that can be bought directly from the website, and in some packages, digital files are included.
 

While I do a wide variety of photography,  one of the catagories I  specialize in  is newborn portrait photography.
 

Newborn Portraits - Newborn portraits are one of my favorite types of sessions. In addition to the newborns I have photographed on location (going to the baby's home with a portable set up), I photographed hundreds of newborns and their families as a newborn photographer at a local hospital. I loved being a part of capturing special moments within the first few days or weeks of a baby's birth as it is such a wonderful time for families. After having a baby, I make it convenient to have portraits done as I come to your house, or hospital as  I have a portable set-up that sets up and breaks down in minutes. Having the convenience of me coming to your home means you and your baby will be comfortable and you won't have to worry about taking the baby out if the weather is bad. The best time to photograph newborns is in the first 2 weeks of life.
 

In a typical newborn session (if there is such a thing as newborns are all different), I expect the photo session to last anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3 hours. Some newborns may need a feeding, or a diaper change, or just need some mom time during a session, and because of this, I make sure to leave plenty of time for such things.

I try to tailor each newborn session to the vision of the parents.  Whether you are wanting a more natural style, or some fun stylish newborn images with hats or bows, or even some themed images such as incorporating sports teams, I can tailor the session to fit your needs.

I love to incorporate the immediate family members in newborn sessions. Babies grow so quickly, that I feel capturing a newborn with his/her family members will make memorable and cherished images.
 

Families and Children Portrait Photography -Families and children is another type of photography that I have a lot of experience in and enjoy very much. I do most of the Family and Children photo sessions in the late spring, summer and fall months with many outdoor sessions. I love working with families and love to capture the relationships, and the connections that family members have in the photo session.  I am able to travel in the western burbs to a local park, forest preserve, or even a client's backyard to get some natural elements in the photos. I also offer in home sessions, which are nice when it gets close to the holidays and many families are looking for a few nice digital images to use for holiday cards.
 

SENIOR PORTRAIT SESSIONS -  I love working with Seniors. There are a lot of ways to capture your Senior and showcase who they are in such a great time in their life. I like to get basic information on the Senior and find out their likes, interests and basic information on how they envision their senior session images to be.  A few outfit changes are typical, and I can help with stylizing if wanted. I love to capture a Senior and whatever it is that they excel at or is their passion - including Seniors and their instruments, athletes with their equipment, etc. Senior sessions are typically 2 hours long.
 

Couples / Engagement / Maternity Photography -I  offer couples, engagement and maternity photography.  I like to talk to the couple and guide you to come up with something special and unique to the couples I photograph.
 

Event Photography - I also offer event photography and do quite a bit of event photography. I have done benefits, homecoming portraits, scout events, communions, birthday parties, anniversary parties to name some of the different types of events I have covered.  The actual fee will vary depending on the length of photography coverage needed, as well as the anticipated number of images from an event (a large wedding will result in many images versus a smaller event or party would be less.)  I  set up  consultation appointments (in person or over the phone)  to  go over the specifics for each event photography job I do. Sports Photography - Like event photography, sports photography fees will vary depending on your needs; such as the number of players needed to be photographed, whether you are looking for coverage during a sporting event, or for team pictures. I have quite a bit of experience in the sports of baseball and tennis, though I will take on most types of sports photography.
 

Food/Product Photography -I offer food/product, and commercial photography as part of my photography services. Over the past year, I have completed a few food photography sessions. Some of these images were selected to be published in a Waubonsie Community College “Horizons” Publication as well as being showcased in the school’s cafeteria and library.
